The Longview Laestadian Lutheran Church is a member of the Laestadian Lutheran Church (LLC) national organization. The LLC has twenty-nine member congregations in the United States and Canada. The LLC's sister organization in Finland is the SRK.

Beside the shores of the mighty Columbia River and its tributary, the Cowlitz River, a small group of Finnish-American believers farmed and fished to earn their temporal livelihood.
